I was born in England in 1970, and spent ten years of my childhood living in the sunnier climes of Australia. Artistic from an early age, I also began composing at the age of 12. I moved back to the UK in 1984, and studied Art and Education at Warwick University (which, confusingly, is nowhere near Warwick). Since graduating in 1993, I have worked as a Primary School teacher in Coventry.
Over the years as a teacher, I have specialised in the teaching of music, and for many years I have focused on the composing of songs and musicals for the children I have taught. I have also written for Adult choirs, the North Warwickshire Chamber Orchestra, as well as being commissioned to write themes for video productions and wedding recessionals. This has been at the cost of much time to pursue my art.
However in recent years I have started to paint again, and am beginning to exhibit my work at art shows as well as selling online. More recently I have had the pleasure of working on some commissions and would be very happy to hear from you if you’d like me to paint something bespoke for you.
I am married with two children, and I live in Coventry, UK (because someone has to). I am a member of a local church and my faith is often expressed in my work.
