A great fan of the epic books by Tolkien, Adam composed this music when the film trilogy was no more than a twinkle in Peter Jackson’s eye. His approach was quite different from the one taken by Howard Shore, with a more fantastical element to the music.  

 

Adam is especially pleased with the music he wrote for Lothlorien - a sweeping yet melancholy theme which reflects the decaying and epic beauty of the elvin world.
